Founded in 2006 by Vonna Matthews, V Events continues to evolve as a trend setting event management and marketing firm. Our desire to revolutionize event and marketing concepts allows us to operate outside the box. In 2008, V Events launched V Community, the community relations division dedicated to showcasing and supporting existing initiatives of service-oriented programs in North Texas. Each year V Events will honor non-profit organizations that are having lasting impacts on individuals and groups in the community.

ORGANIZATION HIGHLIGHT
In 2008, V Events sponsored AIDS Arms Inc. (AAI) as its Non-profit Organization of the year. AAI aids individuals in acquiring the resources and health care they need to manage the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS. AAI aims to raise funds and awareness of the effects of HIV/AIDS through events and program initiatives.
AAI's signature event, LifeWalk took place on October 11, 2009 at Lee Park, Dallas, Texas. It included entertainment, food, vendors and more. Approximately 10,000 participants joined the fight against HIV/AIDS by walking 3.2 miles through Dallas' scenic Turtle Creek and Uptown. LifeWalk raised over $350,000 for the fight against HIV/AIDS. The 20th anniversary LifeWalk event will take place on October 10, 2010.
